About
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” That principle shapes how I learn, lead, and live.
I'm an IBDP student at Indus International School, Bangalore with interests spanning economics, public policy, athletics, music, and creative writing.
I bring academic discipline, athletic resilience, and curiosity to everything I undertake - from publishing economic research to scaling literacy programs in rural India, and from mountain summits to national cricket tournaments.

I hope to pursue a career in academia, policymaking, or public service. Whether teaching underserved students or training with elite athletes, I try to work with impact, purpose, and excellence - because as Maximus Decimus Meridius once said, "what we do in life echoes in eternity".

University of Chicago:
Pathways in Economics
I was one of 80 students selected globally for the Pathways in Economics course (ECON 12410). I earned 100 units of UChicago credit with an A grade (98.29%). I studied macroeconomics, causal inference, game theory, and behavioral economics, and was introduced to the Chicago School framework through the works of Gary Becker and Milton Friedman. I applied R programming to conduct policy-based economic evaluation and experimental design.

Financial Decision Making
I learned about asset classes, portfolio diversification, technical analysis, personal finance, and DCFs. I placed in the top 25 in a global investment simulation (150+ teams) and was recommended as best team in the capstone presentation project on U.S. college savings plans (529 plans, Coverdell ESAs, custodial accounts).
Ashoka University:

University of Warwick:
A Taste of Economics and Finance
I was introduced to macroeconomics, environmental economics, behavioral economics, game theory, and the foundations of 21st-century finance. I also participated in UCAS personal statement workshops and academic life immersion activities. This was the first formal introduction of economics in my life too, leading to a pursuit of my passion in the coming years.
Research Experience
Research Intern:
Finance Department, Government of Karnataka
At the Finance Department of the Government of Karnataka, I studied budget preparation processes and analyzed education funding trends in Karnataka’s Child Budget (2020–2025). I worked with senior officers at the Fiscal Policy Institute and created tools to evaluate shifts in programmatic versus non-programmatic allocations in response to COVID-19, elections, and NEP 2020.
Research Project:
Zerodha
With Zerodha, India’s largest stock brokerage firm, I co-authored a research brief studying Indian household wealth. We estimated household AUM at ₹941T (FY23) and examined changes in asset class distribution, post-COVID equity participation, and rural investment in gold. The project combined SEBI, RBI, and WGC data to contextualize macro-level savings behavior.
Author - Research Paper:
International Journal For
Multidisciplinary Research (IJFMR)
In an independently published paper in IJFMR, I examined how inflation (2010–2024) impacted the purchasing power of low-income rural vs. urban households. Using CPI and NSSO data, we found rural food expenditure rose from 52% to 58% and urban rent burdens increased from 26% to 34%. The paper proposes region-specific and inflation-indexed policy solutions.
